| | Film Permits are required for motion pictures, video and still photography when filming activity takes place on City property including parks, beaches, streets, sidewalks, buildings, etc. City film permits are not issued for private, County, State, School District or other property not owned by the City of Laguna Beach.
Two types of permits are available:
Still Photo Permit
This permit is intended for limited use, single camera shoots such as family portraits, holiday cards, etc. The fee is $100 for 2 hours plus $50 for each additional hour.

Commercial Film Permit
This permit is for commercial photo, video and motion shoots. The application fee is $150 plus a $365 daily use fee.
