How can I reach a member of the City Council? You may leave a message for one or all of the City Council members at their office at City Hall by calling 497-0710. Mayor, Mayor Pro Tem and Council members may be reached individually at their homes: Toni Iseman 494-7648, Jane Egly 494-1827, Elizabeth Pearson 497-7128, Kelly Boyd 463-8089, Verna Rollinger 494-9878.

How can I request that an item be placed on the City Council agenda? Written requests may be sent to the City Council at City Hall, 505 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. Remember to provide your name, address and phone number.

How do I get appointed to a commission, board or committee? Please see Commissions, Boards, and Committees.

How do I register to vote? If you are a U.S. citizen and over 18 years of age, you are eligible to register to vote. Voter registration cards are available at the City Clerk's office. You may pick-up a form or call 497-0705 and one will be mailed to you. If a person makes any change in his/her name, address or political party, he/she must re-register.
You may also register online through the County Registrar of Voters or with the DMV when you renew your drivers license.

How many commissions, boards and committees are there? There are two Commissions: 1) Planning Commission and 2) Arts Commission.
There are two Boards: 1) Board of Adjustment/Design Review Board and 2) Personnel Board.
There are seven Committees: 1) Telecommunications Committee, 2) Heritage Committee, 3) Housing and Human Affairs Committee, 4) Environmental Committee, 5) Parking/Traffic/Circulation Committee, 6) Recreation Committee, and 7) HIV Advisory Committee

When and where does the City Council Meet? The City Council meets on the first and third Tuesday of each month. The Meetings are at 6:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 505 Forest Avenue, Laguna Beach, CA 92651. The agenda for each meeting is available on the Friday before the meeting. Agendas are available at City Hall or on the City's web site.

When are City elections held? The City's General Municipal Election is held in November of even numbered years.
