Design Review Board

Members of the Design Review Board assess proposed development projects to determine whether they conform to the policies of the City's General Plan, Certified Local Coastal Program, Zoning Standards, and Design Review Criteria specified in the Municipal Code Section 25.05.040(H). The Design Review Board (also called the Board of Adjustment) plays a large role in protecting the village atmosphere of the City. Members of the Design Review Board serve two-year terms. 

The Design Review Board generally meets on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month at 6:00 p.m. in City Council Chambers at 505 Forest Avenue.  Meetings are open to the public. See the City Calendar for our next meeting date.
