Rookie and Seasonal Ocean Lifeguard I

A MANDATORY SWIM TEST: will be conducted at MAIN BEACH LIFEGUARD WHITE TOWER on Saturday February 23, 2013 - Sign-in begins at 7:30 a.m. and candidates must be ready to enter the water promptly at 9:00 a.m. No exceptions, late arrivals cannot be accommodated. Candidates must complete the 1000 meter swim in less than 20 minutes.  Top candidates will be invited to apply for the 2013 Seasonal and Rookie Ocean Lifeguard Academy.  Additional tryouts may be held.  You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view the PDF files.  It can be downloaded for free by clicking on “Get Acrobat Reader”.  If you have any questions, please contact Lieutenant Kai Bond at the phone number or email address listed below.

Note:  The waiver is required of all candidates participating in the physical testing (tryout) and training activities for the positions of Seasonal and Rookie and Seasonal Ocean Lifeguard I.  If a candidate is under 18 years of age a signature of a parent or guardian is REQUIRED.
