City Bus Service

Laguna Beach's Mainline Bus Service (blue and white buses) runs Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m., and Saturdays 9:20 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. serving North Laguna/Laguna Canyon and South Laguna/Ritz Carlton areas. 

The Top of the World, Blue Bird Canyon and Arch Beach Heights Trolley Service has replaced the mainline buses in these neighborhoods. Click here for schedules, route maps and additional details regarding the Trolley Service in these neighborhoods.

Mainline Bus Routes

North Laguna/Laguna Canyon: Take an enjoyable ride along the beach in the north end of town enjoying ocean views, and taking in sites such as the Laguna Arts Museum and quaint shops and restaurants.

Monarch Bay & Ritz via PCH: Along this route, riders can visit Laguna’s majestic beaches, and breathtaking views, along with popular spots including Treasure Island Park, historic buildings, and boutique shops and restaurants. ?

Bus Passes

We offer four types of bus passes:

  • 30-day pass, unlimited rides: $30. Available for purchase at the Community Services Department, 515 Forest Avenue,  Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 949-497-0716 
  • 20-ride pass, no expiration: $15. Available at the Community Services Department and at the Susi Q Community Center, 380 Third Street, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 949-464-9535.
  • Seniors' 20-ride pass, no expiration: $6 or free to low-income seniors. Available at the Susi Q Community Center, 380 Third Street, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 949-464-9535.
  • Free Ride-to-Work Pass, 50 rides, for anyone who is employed in Laguna Beach. Available at the Community Services Department, 515 Forest Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 949-497-0716. Must show letter for Laguna Beach employer or paycheck stub from a Laguna Beach business to qualify.
