The goal of the City's Jurisdictional Runoff Management Program (JRMP) is to meet the minimum requirements of the National Pollution Discharge Elimination System storm water discharge permit for South Orange County issued by the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board.  Below is a collection of documents relevant to the JRMP and LIP.

The Local Implementation Plan was ratified by the City Council on January 4, 2011.

The City's LIP is based on the County of Orange's Drainage Area Management Plan (DAMP)  The OC Watersheds web page contains information relevant to Laguna Beach's program including Public Education, Rainfall and Water Quality data, Water Quality Management Plan (WQMP) and BMP guidance.  Orange County Health Care Agency (OCHCA) maintains beach water quality and closure data on their website.

BMP Fact Sheets are available for: Construction Activities, New Development/Redevelopment, Industrial/Commercial Activities, Residential Activities, Common Interest HOAs and Municipal Activities.  The documents below are relevant to municipal employees, public and private contractors and residents of Laguna Beach and are intended to be used to train staff to identify and mitigate any threats to water quality in the City.
