Mission Hospital Gives $1.3 Million to Local Nonprofits

On August 30, Mission Hospital announced that it awarded $1.3 million in grants to 12 local non-profit organizations. According to Christy Cornwall, Director of Community Benefit at Mission Hospital, the grants “further strengthen programs that address the prevention of substance abuse among youths, and provide mental health, urgent care, and housing support services that align with [Mission Hospital’s] core focus on creating healthy communities.” Four local grant recipients include the Laguna Beach Community Clinic, the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach Seniors, and the Friendship Shelter. We would like to recognize and congratulate Mission Hospital for its commitment to building strong and healthy communities.
