Road Safety Expo October 13

Join us for the 5th Annual Road Safety Expo on Sunday, October 13, 2019, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Top of the World Elementary School (21601 Treetop Lane, Laguna Beach). This free event will encompass safety information for all roadway users including cyclists, pedestrians, and motorists. Whether you drive a vehicle, ride your bike, or walk, your safety depends on sharing the road safely with other vehicles and users. The Laguna Beach Police Department continues to promote “Vision Zero,” which aims to reach zero fatalities or serious injuries on our streets. The expo will include a BMX freestyle team performance, skatepark clinic, auto-extrication demo from the Laguna Beach Fire Department, bicycle obstacle course, K-9 Ranger and MUCH more. Attendance of the event is free for all ages (food trucks will be at the event and have food items available for purchase). If you would like to participate and set up a booth at the event, please contact Community Services Officer Nikki Hernandez at (949) 497-0382 (See the attached flyer for more details).
