Fact Check: Deergrass Not Invasive

Deergrass (Muhlenbergia rigens) is one of the most beautiful and easiest to grow of all the native California bunchgrasses, typically reaching mature size in one or two years. In the garden, Deergrass is almost maintenance-free and once mature it really doesn't need any supplementary water. Deergrass is not invasive and was approved in the Landscape Plan for the Village Entrance project, which received many years of public input.
