For some incidents, listed below, you may click here to file an on-line Laguna Beach Police report. If the situation is an emergency, please call 9-1-1. Remember that filing a false police report is a crime.

If your vehicle has been towed, please contact the Laguna Beach Police Department at (949) 497-0701.  You will need your driver's license for identification and $150.00 for the processing fee (Cash, Check, Visa or Mastercard accepted).  The tow agency requires a vehicle release form prior to releasing your vehicle and this form can only be obtained at the police department.  

If you need a copy of a police report, copies are available for $15.00 and may be requested at the police department Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.  

Incident Type Description Example
Harassing phone calls Unwanted phone calls of an annoying, harassing, or threatening nature. Do not use this to file violations of restraining orders. Hang-up calls, obscene calls, repeated or numerous calls.
Crime tip Information on suspected criminal activity that has or may occur. 
Witnessing an assault; suspecting narcotics activity at a specific location; observing gang or graffiti activity.
Hit and run A non-injury accident where one party left the scene of the accident without providing license, insurance and vehicle information. Do not use this if you witnessed the hit-and-run collision.
Damage caused by another vehicle in which the driver should have left information or fled the scene without stopping to exchange information.
Lost property  When something you own is missing or lost. If you left something in a restaurant or on the beach, or if something is missing from your car or home.
