Compost Giveaway this Saturday

In partnership with Waste Management and Tierra Verde Industries, the City is offering two free Compost Giveaway Events on April 10 and May 15 from 8:30 a.m. to Noon These events are for Laguna Beach residents. The events will be held at the City Maintenance Facilities, 1900 Laguna Canyon Road.

This is a self-service event. For your safety and the safety of others, County COVID-19 guidelines will be followed.  Please wear a face covering.  Residents are encouraged to bring the following items:

• Please bring gloves, shovels, and containers.
• Only 5-gallon buckets or containers. Up to four (4) buckets or containers per household are permitted. Waste Management trash/recycling carts or other type of containers that are more than 5-gallons may not be used.
• Supplies are limited and will be available on a first come first serve basis for Laguna Beach residents only.

A limited number of bagged compost will be available and will be on a first come first serve basis.  Four (4) bag limit per household.
