Due to the confidential nature of its work, Personnel Board meetings are not open to the public unless the employee requests otherwise.

Per the City’s municipal code, the board hears appeals submitted by employees relative to disciplinary actions, dismissals, demotions, reductions in pay, suspensions and certifies its findings and recommendations as provided in the City’s Personnel Rules.
