Non-Summer Season Trolley Routes (Sept. 3, 2024 - June 27, 2025)

Coastal Route

Free trolley service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/ Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point. 

Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.;
Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Saturday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.;
Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

Frequency: Every 20-30 minutes.

Canyon Route

Park for free at Lot 16/Act V (1900 Laguna Canyon Road) and ride a free trolley to downtown Laguna Beach every Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Frequency: Every 30 minutes.  

Note: Lot 16 is closed to the public Monday-Friday.

Laguna Local Neighborhood On-Demand Transit

The City offers a free, on-demand, shared-ride transit service called Laguna Local between residential neighborhoods and major activity centers within the City.

Laguna Local Off-Season Service Hours (Sept, 3, 2024 -June 27, 2025)

Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Friday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Saturday 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Sunday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Laguna Local service must temporarily suspend the ability for passengers to transport bicycles. We will make an announcement as soon as all issues have been resolved.

Summer Season Trolley Routes (June 28, 2025- Sept. 2, 2025)

Canyon Route (Not Currently Running)

Service on Laguna Canyon Road from Act V (Lot 16) peripheral parking lot to summer art festivals and downtown. 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week. 

Frequency: Every 15-20 minutes.

Coastal Route (Not Currently Running)

Service on Coast Highway between North Laguna/ Heisler Park, downtown, South Laguna/ Mission Hospital and Ritz Carlton in Dana Point.  9:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., 7 days a week.  

Frequency: Every 20-40 minutes.

Summer Breeze (Not Currently Running)

Service on Laguna Canyon Road from free peripheral parking lot in Irvine (16355 Laguna Canyon Road) to art festivals and downtown. Operates June 28 to September 2 on Friday - Sunday and Labor Day: 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.  

Frequency: Every 30 minutes.

Trolley Rentals

Looking for a unique way to transport your guests to and from an event in the City of Laguna Beach?  Consider chartering a Laguna Beach Trolley (available mid-September through mid-June).  For more information, contact Transit Supervisor Andre Chism, (949) 497-0746.

**Reservations for trolley rentals can be made no more than 45 days before your event date, and no sooner than 10 days before your event date.
