The Laguna Beach Police and Community Foundation (LBPCF) is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is enhance the Laguna Beach Police Department and public safety, serve its officers, and staff, and improve community relations and communications. The Foundation fulfills its mission by collecting donations and distributing those funds to (i) provide emergency assistance to LBPD employees and family, (ii) provide LBPD employees’ immediate family members with higher-education scholarships, (iii) provide financial assistance to help family members of LBPD employees fund the costs associated with enrichment / extracurricular activities, (iv) support the physical, mental and financial wellness of LBPD employees, and (v) when appropriate, acquire or help acquire important items that enhance the effectiveness and safety of the LBPD employees’ on-the-job responsibilities.
